Q: What services does VIPTutor offer?
A: We offer one-on-one tutoring for all age and subject levels.
Q: How long do the tutoring sessions last for?
A: There is no set time for a tutoring session because all of our tutoring services are individualized plans. When our educational specialist evaluates the student prior to starting the tutoring, he figures out the length, frequency, and intensity of each session that will best suit the student's needs.
Q: Where does the tutoring take place?
A: It takes place in the comfort of the student's home, unless the student would prefer a public meeting place or online tutoring.
Q: In what locations is tutoring available?
A: Almost anywhere. In extreme remote cases where in-person tutoring can't be arranged, online tutoring can be requested.
Q: Does VIPTutor guarantee that their students will reach their goals?
A: Yes. Prior to the start of tutoring, the student, his/her parents (if a minor), and the educational specialist collaborate on deciding upon a goal. If that goal is not achieved, you'll get your money back.
Q: Who attends the sessions?
A: In most cases, the tutoring sessions consist of just the tutor and the tutee. However, parental/guardian presence is mandatory.
Q: What times are available for the tutors?
A: Our tutors have very flexible schedules to accommodate the student's available time. We highly value customer convenience, so as long as you request a time and date at least a day or two ahead of time, it should be available.
Q: Do you provide progress reports?
A: Yes, our tutors are trained to create thorough progress reports so the student can measure his/her progress.
Q: Do your tutors have experience working with learning disabilities?
A: Yes, many of our tutors are trained to work various different kinds of learning disabilities. Contact one of our educational specialists to ask about a specific case.
Q: Do you provide an assessment?
A: Yes, we thoroughly check the students' subject knowledge as well as learning style to best figure out how to him them.
